This site was created in order to provide a consistent source for information on essay writing, grammar, research, and using MLA and APA style for documenting sources to avoid plagiarism.

Students can find brief explanations of the rules of grammar such as how to use commas and apostrophes under the Grammar section.  The section on Essays reviews organization and development of content of an academic essay. The section on Research covers the various types of sources.  The MLA and APA sections give the basic rules of these citation systems to avoid plagiarism. Each section has exercises to help reinforce learning.

We hope that this site is a useful tool to enhance writing skills and encourage you to give us feedback, including suggestions and content for how the site can be improved as a resource in all disciplines.
